Chemical Processing
Our rupture discs are manufactured with chemical processing in mind – corrosion resistance, leak tightness, high accuracy and durability come standard.
Need an economical corrosion barrier or environmental seal? The ENVIRO-SEAL rupture disc will do the job with excellent performance and a non-fragmenting design.
The ENVIRO-SEAL is a flat seat, composite rupture disc that installs between standard bore ASME, DIN or JIS companion flanges. Use it to isolate the downstream side of low-pressure atmospheric store vessels, pressure relief valves and other equipment from corrosive environments.
Constructed for your application
The ENVIRO-SEAL is composed of a metallic top section and a non-metallic seal. Depending on which design you need, the seal could be on the process side, on both the process and the vent side or between two metallic top sections.
The top section of the ENVIRO-SEAL is designed with our seven-hole pattern to prevent fragmentation. As a standard, the ENVIRO-SEAL is manufactured from 316 stainless steel, fluoropolymer seals and a non-asbestos gasket on both sides of the rupture disc. Standard sizes range from 1″(25mm) through 36″(900mm).
ENVIRO-SEAL rupture discs are available in three designs:
Nominal Size Range: 1″ – 36″ (25 mm – 900 mm)
Burst Pressure Range: 1 psig – 59 psig (0,069 barg – 4,07 barg)
Maximum Recommended Operating Ratio: 50% of the rupture disc’s rated (stamped) burst pressure
Seating Configuration: Flat seat
Service: Liquid or gas
BDI Alarm System Compatible?: Yes
ASME Code Symbol Stamp Available?: Yes

ENVIRO-SEAL is recommended only for safety relief valve isolation on the downstream side of the valve.
Our rupture discs are manufactured with chemical processing in mind – corrosion resistance, leak tightness, high accuracy and durability come standard.
We understand that product purity and safety are critical in food-related industries, so we provide hygienic and aseptic vessels and piping to assure compliance with FDA and 3A requirements.
The hydrocarbon industries require cost-effective system protection with a special focus on reducing fugitive emissions. Our catalog of configurations, materials, burst ratings and sizes make our rupture discs the right choice for these operations.
We focus on solutions to meet the stringent requirements of pharmaceutical processing – wherever perfectly hygienic facilities and hermetically sealed antiseptic systems are a must.
